In September 2007, Sana Keller branched out and opened Pulse Communications & Travel Marketing Inc. after over 15 years of working in the travel and tourism business.  Keller brings with her a wealth of tourism marketing and public relations experience having previously worked for Discover the World Marketing for 10.5 years as Public Relations & Marketing Manager in Canada

and prior to that was employed in leading positions with BMW Canada (P.R.), Four Seasons Flag Ship Hotel in Yorkville, Air Canada (Reservations) and Worldways Airlines (In-flight Service Manager).

With a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Ryerson University and a Masters in International Business & Mass Communications from Florida International University, Keller brings her broad knowledge and International skills to the client and marketplace with innovation, creativity, market sensitivity and commitment to quality through her team of experienced individuals.

Her natural passion for public speaking has won her many awards across Canada in the past and makes her a natural in her field.

Sana is currently the President of the Discover America Committee Canada and previously sat on the Boards of the Travel Media Association of Canada (TMAC), and ANTOR (Association of National Tourist Office Representatives).

She has many years of experience in working with current and past clients including:  Virginia Tourism Corporation for 15+ years, Dallas C

VB, Tropical Incentives, Discover America (Currently Brand USA), Chicago & Illinois, Dallas, The State of Louisiana, Kenya Tourist Board, Singapore and numerous airlines & hotels worldwide.





Patrice has held various senior-level executive positions with the travel industry for over 30 years.  She has an outstanding record of achievement in driving key performance results in the areas of sales and marketing management,operations and strategic development.  Patrice is a dynamic, creative, agile performer with a proven track record for managing multiple initiatives simultaneously which consistently surpass targeted objectives. Her reputation for entrepreneurial management, excellent negotiating abilities and team leadership abilities has served her well in her career.  She has superior relationship-building skills with a proficiency to work within multi-layered and global corporations.  Patrice has a rare combination of both a corporate business and entrepreneurial background to capitalize on developing new business initiatives and concepts.

Past positions include the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority, Alamo Rent-A-Car, Rosenbluth International and TTI/Woodside Corporate Travel Management.





In a successful travel industry career spanning over three decades, Annika Klint has hands on industry experience including owning, operating and holding senior management positions with numerous travel enterprises.

Her successful senior and executive level responsibilities include VP/Sales & Relationship Marketing – Retail position and My Travel Canada (now Thomas Cook). She has over 30 years’ experience in tourism sales and marketing with airlines, tour operators and retail, producing revenue generating programs with innovative Preferred Supplier strategies and national loyalty programs.

Before starting her company in January 2008, she was VP/GM of a $50 million dollar luxury travel agency in Toronto. She has organized numerous individual travel agent, tour operator & media fams to destinations including many of the Caribbean Islands, U.S., Australia, Europe, Scandinavia and China. She has done hundreds of presentations to consumer and special interest groups, media, travel trade, etc. Annika has equal experience in sales, trade marketing and public relations and is a member of various organizations including Discover America Canada, SKAL, ACTA and TICO.




Cynthia is highly experienced, well-respected airline operations and travel and tourism manager known for developing and managing very successful key customer and client partnerships designed to achieve increased revenue and relationships within the international travel trade.

She has a diverse and deep range of experience including managing complex operations issues, highly polished communications and presentation skills, and effective employee/management relations. Known for flawless execution and attention to detail in planning and managing key corporate events held worldwide, Cynthia is an instrumental part of the Pulse team.

For 40 years, Cynthia was a high profile front-line champion who helped position and build Air Canada’s brand within the international markets, including Glasgow and the UK.. She is a graduate of The University of Toronto, Victoria College, with a BA in English and Political Science.



Samantha graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelors in Arts. She has nearly 6 years of experience with handling events from her time volunteering with the World Society for the Protection of Animals, as well as with her University radio station. She also completed a Certificate Program in Project Management and has media experience from her time interning with television production company, Cream Productions. In addition to English, she is fluent in Portuguese.

Samantha handles the day-to-day operations at Pulse for all clients. She also assists with any trade shows and special client events.







Ilona has more than 20 years experience as a senior writer and editor for some of Canada’s most popular online news sites, including AOL Canada and Huffington Post, and has contributed to ELLE Canada, enRoute, The Globe & Mail, National Post, Endless Vacation, Porthole and other leading publications. She has deep knowledge of the Canadian media landscape and has won multiple awards for her travel writing from Discover America and TMAC.

With prior public relations experience as Media Director for Greenpeace Canada, for the last three years she has been hard at work representing top travel brands such as Copa Airlines, San Antonio, Texas and Cheapflights.ca, helping secure millions of dollars of earned media exposure for her clients in Canada’s most prestigious publications.





Lorenzo has more than 12 years of experience working in the marketing sector. While working for Grupo Di, a family company in Mexico City, he managed the marketing and financial plans of the entire organization.

His first job in the travel and tourism industry had him working to promote the Baja California Peninsula as a second home destination. Following this, he began working as part of Mexico’s Ministry of Tourism department to develop programs focused around adventure tourism in order to promote Mexico as an adventure destination.

Later, he was part of the promotion platform of the Mexican State of Guanajuato, before taking a break from travel and tourism and entering the telecommunications industry.

After a year out of the tourism Industry, he founded an event production company and began working at Ad Nova, where he developed trade marketing plans for key accounts and created strategic alliances with key tourism players, such as tour operators, agencies and airlines.

He is currently working for Pulse handling the Nevada account.



Soheila is a professional blogger and lifestyle influencer covering a wide range of lifestyle topics including food, travel, events, fashion and beauty! She utilizes many social media platforms that are steadily gaining popularity including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and Youtube successfully reaching targeted audiences for Pulse Communications & Travel Marketing Inc.’s clients. When working with a company, she has been able to create so much buzz, that her posts have become some of the most trending topics on social media. In addition to working with Pulse Communications & Travel Marketing, she has successfully engaged with other tourism companies including destinations, hotels, transportation and airlines.







As a digital strategist, Andrew Lovesey thinks beyond the screen. He has been working in the digital marketing industry for more than seven years and specializes in community engagement through both digital and social mediums. From teaching social media on behalf of magazine’s and institutions, to serving as digital strategist for a large PR firm in Toronto, his digital strategies have helped a roster of world class clients develop digital communications methods and strategic campaigns which have lead to successful outcomes.   In other capacities, he has worked with travel and tourism boards, beauty products, authors, businesses, actors, hotels, cruise lines non-profits and corporations. Andrew’s marketing writing has been implemented on national- and international-scale programs.

As a journalist, Andrew has written for some of Canada’s finest publications including the Globe and Mail, National Post, Canadian Geographic, FLARE and ELLE Canada; edits his own website Travel About and serves as Bold Magazine’s digital editor. He is a Student Member of the Explorers Club, a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society and a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal recipient. Andrew continues to work with Canadian Geographic and the RCGS in the capacity of contributing editor. He has participated in two Globe Debates.

Andrew has recently joined the Pulse Travel Marketing team as their chief digital strategist.



Barbara has over 15+ years PR, sales & marketing experience in the travel and tourism industry.  A graduate of the University of Montréal in Marketing & PR, Barbara has extensive knowledge of the media & travel trade in Québec & currently sits on the Board of ANTOR (Association of National Tourism Office Representatives).  She has built an excellent reputation in the Québec market & has led many successful multi media campaigns in Québec, escorted US state Governors on missions and is fluent in written and spoken French and English.  She specializes in Québecois French translation services in the tourism industry.










Based in Calgary, Sandra is an engaging trainer/facilitator effective in the preparation and delivery of an array of programs. She is a results-driven, innovative and creative Sales & Marketing Manager with an innate focus on customer retention and revenue growth. Sandra has a thorough knowledge of the travel industry business sector with a broad range of network contacts in Western Canada. She has an uncanny strength for building and maintaining customer relationships, has excellent time management skills, as well as sound analytic knowledge

Sandra plans, coordinates and orchestrates a myriad of VIP events and conferences. She is self-motivated, and continually exceeds expectations.








Rebecca Seeds has worn the Sales Manager hat for over 15 years in the Travel Industry. Rebecca graduated from Humber College with a Travel & Tourism diploma, and her adventures started the day she became a reservation agent at Hillcrest Tours. She quickly moved up in the company and found her true calling as Sales Manager of Canada.

After 9 years she ventured into the destination marketing world. Her career in sales and marketing has taken her all over Canada, and allowed her to represent some exciting destinations such as Texas, St. Maarten, North Carolina, US Virgin Islands and more. After 15 years of working in the industry and 2 kids later, Rebecca’s love and passion for the travel industry still excites her. She looks for new and creative ways to keep that excitement alive for the travel agents and partners she works with.
